The collaboration between the Sea Around Us – Indian Ocean and the Marine Futures Lab is growing

Welcome to 2024 from sunny Perth!

An active recruitment drive by Professor Jessica Meeuwig, Wen Family Chair in Conservation at UWA and Director of the Marine Futures Lab, and a research partner of the Sea Around Us – Indian Ocean, has resulted in a considerable increase in volunteers, staff and graduate students from around the world. The Sea Around Us – Indian Ocean is looking forward to ongoing collaborations on fisheries data and analyses with the various marine conservation projects being pursued across Australia, the Indo-Pacific and globally.  We look ahead to an engaging and productive research year.
